The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing is changing the way lexicographic content is created, analysed and presented. Large Language Models and advanced corpus tools are accelerating tasks such as extracting lexical information or drafting definitions, but they also bring challenges: questions of reliability, bias and transparency in automatically generated content, the underlying data basis and the environmental footprint of large AI models, as well as the future role of lexicographers. The proceedings volume brings together 93 papers from the XXII EURALEX International Congress “Lexicography in the Age of AI”. The Book of Abstracts contains the abstracts of the keynotes, presentations, posters and software demonstrations. The topics range from AI-based lexicography to historical and digital dictionary research, lexical semantics, multilingualism and terminology.
