Der vorliegende Faszikel des CSIR behandelt die Grabstelen und Grabaltäre aus dem Stadtgebiet von Flavia Solva (CSIR IV 3). Es geht dabei zunächst um allgemeine Fragen wie die Grenzen des Territoriums von Flavia Solva und die Fundorte sowie das Material der Grabstelen und der Grabaltäre. Weitere Grundsatzfragen werden in den Kapiteln zu der Typologie und Ikonographie der Grabstelen bzw. der Grabaltäre behandelt sowie in dem Überblick über die in den Inschriften genannten Personen und deren Status, für den Ingrid Weber-Hiden verantwortlich zeichnet. Sie hat auch im Katalog der Grabstelen und Grabaltäre die epigraphischen Fragen bearbeitet. Der Katalog ist nach formalen Gesichtspunkten gegliedert, da eine chronologische Ordnung schwerfällt. Die Arbeit wird durch ein Sachregister, einen Namensindex, ein Register der Fundorte und der Denkmalformen sowie ein Register der Museen und übrigen Verwahrorte abgeschlossen.

The present fascicle of the CSIR treats the grave stelai and grave altars from the city of Flavia Solva in Noricum (CSIR IV 3). Besides, it is first about general questions like the borders of the territory of Flavia Solva and the finding places as well as the material of the grave stelai and the grave altars. Other principle questions are treated in the chapters on typology and iconography of the grave stelai and the grave altars as well as in the overview about the people mentioned on the inscriptions and their status, for which Ingrid Weber-Hiden is responsible. She has also worked in the catalogue of the grave stelai and grave altars on the epigraphic questions. The catalogue is organised according to formal points of view, because a chronological order is difficult. The work is concluded by a general register, an index of names, a register of the finding places and the forms of monuments as well as a register of museums and other depositaries.
