Following the XXV. COSPAR Meeting at Graz, the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, under the auspices of the Academy's Radio Science Com- mission, organized a small international Workshop on Planetary Radio Emissions at the University of Graz. The present volume contains edited versions of most of the papers (with discussions) pre- sented at the workshop; its publication was made possible through the generous support of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Financial support for the workshop by the Provincial Government of Styria and the Aus- trian Solar and Space Agency (ASSA) is also gratefully acknowledged.
