Abstract

This short comment is based on Ercan Akyol’s “Introducing the Tietze Collection” in this volume and the detailed list of the contents of the tapes. Its aim is to evaluate the importance of the material gathered and to connect it both to some of Tietze’s ideas on teaching and his approach to varied fields of research.
