Abstract

The Museum Carnuntinum possesses eleven military diplomas, five of which have not yet been published. Two of them came from Pannonia superior, one from Dacia superior, one is for the coh. praetoriae under Gordian III and the last one dates to 154–158. There are new readings of RMD V 416, which has been restored and gives new insight into the praeterea praestitit-formular, of CIL XVI 109 and of a fragment which was already published in the museum’s cata- logue in 1992.
