Schwerpunkt: Orte des Alters und der Pflege – Hospitäler, Heime und Krankenhäuser
Nursing and aging, two overlapping topics, currently represent great social and political challenges. Summing up interdisciplinary articles on these topics in a long-term perspective is also challenging. The following summary tries to outline continuities and discontinuities as well as to raise open questions by highlighting four “spotlights” (terminologies, spaces, persons, activities). The conference papers and the articles presented here show the high potential of interdisciplinary exchange and diachronic comparison.
